Hello! My name is Meg Grossman, and I am the owner, head planner, event designer, admin, accountant, social media director and chief of staff at Gem Events. I launched Gem Events in 2018, after leaving the corporate life of retail buying, and have never looked back. Since then, I have strived to become THE premier Bar/Bat Mitzvah and themed-base event planner in Houston, TX.  For me, truly no event is too small to be made into a special occasion.  From birthday parties, wedding anniversary parties, and of course Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, I work super hard to make every event special. It is so important to me to allow my clients to sit back and actually enjoy their event!

 

When I am (rarely) not working to ensure my clients have the most talked about party of the year; I spend the rest of my time with my 2-year-old son Marshall, and sometimes my husband of 6 years, Jacob.  I am born and raised in Houston, and an alumni of Bellaire High School and Emery. In the off chance of free time, I enjoy traveling, busting my booty on the Peloton, and exploring new places in Houston, which usually involves enjoying a glass of wine on a patio.
